Editing Services

Hi there, my name is Mandee! 👋🏼 While I’m also a fellow photographer, I love being behind the scenes and editing photos. I have an eye for detail, color grading, and photoshopping those pesky flyaway hairs or unwanted stop signs ( I mean… what stop si…?). I’d love to bless you with the ability to take a deep breath, knowing your turnaround times will be met, you can rest well, and still deliver your best to clients.

STORY TIME!
I love the story in the Bible (Exodus 17) where Moses is leading a huge battle, and his two friends come beside him in that moment to lift his weary arms.

“Whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, and whenever he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭17‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I’d like to think of myself as that friend for you—not necessarily lifting your tired triceps during a double wedding weekend, but lifting you up by lightening your load after a photoshoot.

And while you may think, "I can handle it by myself. Being burnt out just means I'm blessed," just a chapter later (Exodus 18), Moses's father-in-law, Jethro, l i t e r a l l y says, "What you are doing is not good. You and the people with you will certainly wear yourselves out, for the thing is too heavy for you. You are not able to do it alone.” (Exodus 18:17-18) and basically, in modern terms, talks about the necessity of delegation and warns against burnout. Moses takes his advice, and I think we should too.

I’d love the opportunity to come alongside you and help lighten your load through my editing services.

Ask Yourself:

If you didn’t have to spend your time on editing, how would you spend it?

The Process

Step 1: Upload Your Photos

  • Upload your photos to Google Drive. I will send you a file link to upload your photos. You will add all your photos into the “Raws” folder and then when they are completed, I will put them in an “Edited” folder. This platform ensure your files are transferred securely and without any quality loss.
For our first few galleries together, I ask that you edit 1-2 photos from each section as reference images. This helps me understand your natural editing style. I’ll also keep your website and social media handy until I fully grasp your preferences. Alternatively, if you've already edited teasers for your client, you can simply place them in the "Reference" folder.

  • Preferred File Format: If possible, please send RAW files for the highest quality editing. If you only have JPEGs, that’s fine too, but RAW files give more flexibility for editing.

  • Once uploaded, shoot me a text or email. This allows me to access your photos and start the editing process.

Step 2: Editing Process (Me = Work. You = Recharge)

  • Non-Destructive Editing: I will import your photos into Lightroom, where all edits are made non-destructively. This means your original files remain untouched, and you don’t have to worry about any loss in quality. Note: Please be sure to keep your raws and I will keep my copy of the raw files, this double ensures us we won’t lose any originals (those are nightmares that don’t come true working with me!).

  • Custom Edits: Whether it’s color grading, retouching, or removing unwanted elements, I’ll tailor the edits to your specific needs while keeping the integrity of the original image. I encourage you to make me aware of any specific requests from your client or things to be mindful of about the gallery when you submit the form below.

Step 3: Download Your Edited Photos

  • Exported in High Quality: Once the editing is complete, I will export the photos in your desired format. JPEG is standard, but TIFF is available for those who need the highest quality.

  • Secure Delivery: I will upload the edited photos to the folder called “Edits” in our shared Google Drive folder.

  • Backup Available: I’ll keep a backup of your edited files for 2 weeks, just in case you need any adjustments later on. Note: After those two weeks, I will delete them on my end.

Step 4: Enjoy Your Edited Photos

  • Support Available: If you have any questions or need further adjustments, feel free to reach out. I’m here to ensure you’re completely satisfied with the final results.

    One last note:

Just because the edits are done, does not mean you won’t want to make a few last final touches yourself!
